Product Description This atomic weather clock tells you the outside temperature when you wake in the morning, before you've even gotten out of bed! The atomic thermometer clock also displays the indoor temperature as well as relative humidity and hours, minutes and seconds on the large clear digital screen. The atomic alarm clock receives outdoor temperature information from a remote transmitter. For added convenience, the atomic clock has a projection feature that displays time and temperature on the ceiling or wall

Great alarm clock

Comment:
I am very happy with this clock. Since I often wake up during the night, it is great to be able to see the time reflected on the wall without having to hit any buttons. Knowing the outside temperature is less useful--it just tells me that my bed is warmer than the outside this time of year, which I knew anyway.
The alarm is suitably loud and annoying and gets me up. The time/temperature display on my wall is amply bright.
The directions that come with the clock are pretty bad. They should say: put the batteries in and leave it alone. Come back the next morning, at which time it will have found the signal and be fully functional. The instructions for manually setting the time did not make any sense.
All in all---a great clock.

Works great except the remote temp

Comment:
Even thought the remote temp worked only for a couple hours then failed we like this product. The brightness of the projected time is good enough to read in the dark but not too bright to be disturbing. The temp was a bonus so no major worry cause if failed.

Summary:
good product, but needs a dark room to see projection
|
Comment:
I bought this projection clock to replace one that died. I like it a lot, but have noticed that in order to see the projection, the room has to be completely dark. My old one was not that way. Like the alternating time & temp projection. Don't know how accurate the temp is, but for me, it's close enough. Love the atomic clock, even tho I had trouble setting it manually the first time. Directions to set the clock up aren't very good, but I figured it out. The projection numbers are large and easy to see (if the room is dark). I don't use the alarm, so can't give any info on that feature. Would recommend it.

Has Issues

Comment:
I had to return my first one, as it did not work at all. The second clock works fine but what I don't like about it is that the display is not backlit unless you touch a button and then it will only stay backlit for a few seconds. This means that when I walk in the room and want to know what time it is, I can't see anything without having to walk over and touch the clock to make the backlight come on. This is very inconvenient since you cannot see the projection during the day. Basically, it is not a good overall clock.
