Terrible Packaging!

This clock arrived shattered in pieces. The clock was cracked in many different places and we had to glue the broken parts back together and hope it lasts. TERRIBLE packaging for a fragile terra cotta item. Also, the battery compartment will not allow a AA battery without a terrific struggle. Although the clock is of a beautiful design the packaging and battery compartment engineering is very BAD.

I ordered this as a replacement for one which was broken in Hurricane Gustav. The original was a gift from our daughter along with the matching Thermometer. It was EXACTLY like the broken one. It would have been nice had the whitewash been lighter on the new one (the old one had more white than the Thermometer, also), but no one in South Louisiana would ever complain about good things coming back as they were before.
The delivery was just as promised also, so you've got a happy camper here.
