Comment:
We just returned from 6 weeks in Europe and discovered this unit in Holland but waited to buy it here on Amazon with free shipping. This weather station works great. The wireless outdoor sensor gives me current temperature and the unit inside reads temperature/humidity/time /date/predicts future weather with and arrow pointing up (improving) sideways(same...no change) or down (worse). The weather girl icon is cute and helps to show how to dress for the day. My wife doesn't like her as she is a little to cute in here bikini. Calendar and sunrise are nice too. It's a compact worthy desktop addition. My first go-round with setting it up was clumsy. Read the directions on how to set it up Before installing the two sets of batteries. The unit does a hand shake electronically with the wireless remote and they must agree on a code and frequency. This is done automatically but requires the remote batteries to go in first then the units must be 5 feet apart before the base batteries(AA size) are installed. The second attempt at set up went much smoother when I kept the units over 5 feet apart. If you want an economical weather station that works give this a serious look of the one with the weather boy. Actually I bought both units for each end of the house and use just one outside transmitter for both. It works great.
