Comment:
Product works as expected. From my experience Oregon Scientific Weather Stations are one of the best. The batteries last over a year and they are very accurate. After comparing different brands that people I know had I settled on a Oregon Scientific BAR388HGA and am very satisfied with it. I bought this sensor mainly to monitor the temperature in a second floor room. The sensor is approximately 60 feet away, up one floor and through several wall from the main unit, and it work very well.

I ordered this product to replace the unit I had that was damaged by leaking batteries. The new unit hooked up quickly with my base unit and is working great. Just like new.

Comment:
Well, in general this sensor and base station are well liked in our household. I bought this sensor as a replacement to our original sensor. We were a bit dissappointed that the original sensor did not last longer (maybe 2 years). We are not in extreme conditions, although most would consider the south Georgia heat and humidity to be pretty extreme, and the sensor was always located well underneath the porch away from direct elements. Again, we like the product and the concept, I just hope this replacement lasts longer than the original.
