Comment:
I found this combination temperature and humidity gauge to be very useful.
The accuracy of the readings seems to be OK though not exact. I have two of these digital hygrometers, and they agree with each other pretty well, within 1 degree F and within a couple of percentage points of humidity. I compared these units with an analog humidity gauge I received with a humidifier. The analog gauge reads about 8 to 10 percentage points higher than this unit. I don't know which gauge is more accurate but they all move in response to relative humidity.
There are three missing features that would make this product more useful: the product doesn't come with an indicator or range showing the "comfort zone" of humidity; there is no backlight feature so you must turn on a light to see the display; and there is no way to calibrate the humidity gauge up or down (e.g., assuming that the readings are 10 percentage points off, it would be helpful to have a method to adjust the reading up or down).
