Some victories, some disappointments

Victories:Time/date, updated daily/In-Out Temp(neat!)/clock alarm/Projects the time on ceiling.(My goal in purchase.)
Disappointments:That's good(time on ceiling)BECAUSE the color/temp. face display hasn't displayed after three weeks. The radio/speakers are weak in quality/reception. The snooze alarm is only a beep not the radio.

Comment:
I did a lot of research on Digital Radio Alarm Clocks before I settled with the Maverick R-495 Color-Coded LCD Weather Station and AM/FM Stereo Radio with Alarm and Projection Clock.
I guess because of the extras, like the weather station, aux jack, time projection and temperature color display; but some of those extra's proved to be its final downfall.
If you noticed on the display picture it shows the clock with a blue screen, the screen will turn blue if the outside temperature drops below either 50 or 55 degrees; I cannot remember which one, but it is so bright that I would cover up the clock at night so that only the projection time display would show on the ceiling. The projection time is nice, but in order for it to work on a night stand, it must be a minimum of one foot from the wall and the adjustment that allows you to angle the display is limited, so you may find yourself in a Twister Game position in order to read the display on the ceiling.
If you can imagine, I had the clock at the end of my night stand almost falling off, covered with one of those night mask you might see Eva Gabor wearing and then it was faced towards the foot of the bed so that I could angle the display on the ceiling.
The volume dial is not made very well, so if I wanted to have the radio at a low volume, it was very hard to accomplish, the times when I thought I had the volume perfect would prove false when the alarm went off; the reception was good though.
The outside temperature is about five degrees off and I remember one time the weather forecast got my hopes up for sunny times ahead; it rained for two days straight.
I finally couldn't keep up the sham anymore, I called off the relationship and returned the radio after I found out her Snooze Alarm button was broke, you can't say I didn't give a good try.
If you decide to buy this fine looking Color-Coded LCD Weather Station and AM/FM Stereo Radio with Alarm and Projection Clock., I hope you have a long life together.

Comment:
Projection, clock and radio with color clock changing temperatures all rolled into one. For some reason my daughter really likes it and that is all that counts. She is amused on how the clock changes color with the temperature and projects the time on the ceiling. It is also has atomic adjusted time and a pressure trend with a weather forcast. This is almost like a toy for a child, but adults may not like the flimsy design or the sound. Will have to see how this clock holds up over time.
