Product Description Receive consistently accurate outdoor temperature readings from the comfort of your kitchen or living room with the Timex TX1009 suction cup window thermometer. Made of clear see-through flexible plastic, the 4.5-inch model easily attaches to any window surface, letting you glance at the dial from inside while the thermometer sits outside. More significantly, it measures the temperature from -40 all the way up to 140 degrees F, helping you instantly gauge whether to bring the plants indoors during a cold spell or put on some shorts before taking a stroll. And thanks to the bright red pointer and large dial, the TX1009 is easy to ready from a distance, so you won't have to lean over the countertop to determine the temperature. Sturdy enough to stand up to any weather element, the thermometer is backed by a two-year limited warranty.

Comment:
This thermometer does not give the accurate temperature(it reads 130 every afternoon and the actual temperature is about 85-90) and it does not stick to outdoor surfaces very well- it falls off when it rains. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Comment:
Bought this to replace a Taylor suction window thermometer. There is absolutely NO WAY this pseudo suction cup will stick to any surface as there is no center to the suction. This item was too inexpensive to return (the shipping would have killed me) so I just threw it away and bought a similar item at my hardware store. This one works perfectly, adheres to the window surface from the first installation, and was the same price AND, guess what? It's a Taylor!

It's a thermometer, it works...

Comment:
There's not much to say about the function of this thermometer, it tells the temperature in Fahrenheit.
I wasn't totally clear on how it mounted to the window, so I'll describe it. The whole rim around the front of the thermometer is a big suction cup, so you just clean off a window and stick the thermometer to it. It works well stuck on an outside window facing in, and the dial is fairly large.
