Product Description They say it's not the heat, but the humidity. Well fret not, because the versatile Timex TX3150 wall thermometer/hygrometer displays both at the same time. The sleek unit--which hangs on virtually any wall--features an all-weather stainless-steel case that holds up to rain, snow, and scorching sun. More significantly, it measures the temperature from -20 to 120 degrees F, helping you instantly gauge whether to bring the plants inside during a cold spell or put on a pair of shorts before taking a stroll. The hygrometer scale, meanwhile, measures the relative humidity between one and 99 percent. The thermometer/hygrometer combo makes this a great unit for greenhouses, saunas, humidors, and homes with expensive art collections, among other locations. And thanks to the crisp PVC dial and ultraviolet-protected fade-resistant ink, the TX3150 is a breeze to read from afar and won't dim over time. Also equipped with a protective glass lens, the unit is backed by a two-year warranty.

Nice looking, but wasn't accurate

Comment:
This is a really nice looking outdoor thermometer, but when I hung it up it didn't show the right temperature--it said it was 110 outside--and it was March in northern Illinois. Thinking it might have been where I hung it--on my aluminum siding in the afternoon sun--I took it down and left it a neutral spot seeing if it would give the right temperature. It didn't--this time it said it was around 85 and it was around 45 outside. It's possible that this one just wasn't calibrated right, so it gave the wrong temperature. But not wanting to have the same problem with a new one I just returned it. I wasn't happy to send it back as it looked great where I wanted to put it, but it wouldn't do me any good if it wouldn't give me the right temperature.
