More significantly, it measures the temperature from -40 all the way up to 140 degrees F (with a Celsius scale on the opposite side), helping you instantly gauge whether to bring the plants indoors during a cold spell or put on some shorts before taking a stroll. The bottom dial, meanwhile, gauges the relative humidity between 1 and 99 percent (with a 1 percent resolution). The picture and product number appear to be correct based upon what was shipped to me, but this thermometer does NOT contain a suction cup and is NOT for mounting on windows. It is NOT clear plastic, as stated in the description, but white plastic as shown in the picture. Mine also arrived broken, so I'm returning it. Total disappointment!

Since I got it, the hygrometer stays at 80% +/- 2% no matter what I do (use a steam humidifier or so). So I suspect it's not exactly working.
