Unlike many of the $9.95 thermometers you find in stores, the device seems to of be high quality and accurate. I opted to mount it indoors on my kitchen wall. I deleted the arm and replaced it with a screw of the same diameter. This allowed me to mount the device snugly against the wall. During our recent heat wave, it registered 103 degrees in my kitchen. Aargh!

This Thermometer is the first thing I look at in the morning. It was intended to mount just outside my window, the "arm" that came with it was not long enough to extend past the window casing so my very-handy-significant-other fashioned another one out of a metal rod. It is very easy to read and is spot-on. I love knowing what to wear for my daily walks and knowing when to stay in snuggled in my favorite blankie.
