Buy a few of these to put around the house, and stick one on your thermostat. These are very accurate, unlike most thermostat thermometers, so you can properly calibrate your heat and cool settings, and also find the hot and cold spots around the house to check for air leaks.

I bought two of these. Hard to tell if they are accurate. They agree with each other, but not with another thermometer I have in my house. Not sure which are correct. After only two weeks, one of them no longer gives the high and low readings like it is supposed to. For me that feature isn't important.
