I'm a school teacher and am always looking for that "special" book to read to my students. A teacher friend of mine in Phoenix sent a copy of this book to me as a birthday gift. Kids never tire of having books read to them and this book has become a favorite, not only in my classroom but throughout our school.The illustrations are positively electric and the author's rhyming verse is very witty and fun. He adds a very definite metre and rhythm to his verse and the kids really roll with it! I think it's one of the best children's books I've seen in many years. It belongs in every school library in America. We love it love it!
